June 1st Immigration Reform Rally

Over 100 grassroots organizations nationwide launched their Immigration Reform Campaign exactly one month after May Day. Working in solidarity, these organizations, including Santa Barbara's PUEBLO, are rallying to push Obama's administration to put immigration reform on their highest list of priorities. With this combined effort, elected officials and other groups including CLUE SB joined in a rally in front of the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Many representatives spoke out on the reform issue, from a number of these local organizations, students, a priest, Grant House, and included elected officials Das Williams and Salud Carbajal.
